McShep Big Bang

It seems someone is hosting a McShep Big Bang via tumblr! I remember reading about it on the McShep discord when it was just an idea, but it seems they're serious about following through. So please, click the link if you're interested!

The tumblr post says:

Sign ups are open!

 

They will remain open until April 20th, at which point the pairing of persons shall begin.

 

This will be periodically reblogged & reminders to everyone who has been signed up will be sent out on April 20th & again on April 30th.

Some of the fic lengths they're open to are way too big for tumblr (for example, you can write a 200k word fic). I'm thinking they're going to open an ao3 collection.

Did you see if there's a page that explains what it is? The sign up sheet assumes a lot of knowledge about the challenge that I don't have.

From the form and the tumblr posts it seems that a very wide range of fic sizes is okay. Like really no lower or upper limits. Primary summaries are needed by April 20th. I imagine there'll be some sort of matching at that point, where secondary creators can choose from the summaries. Then posting is on the last day of July, to an AO3 collection (so the sign up form says).

The mod did a prior G-doc form to check numbers interested so I guess that was positive enough. I vaguely recall filling that in. If you have other Qs you could message them on tumblr.
