A/N: yes the title is a reference to Arthur C. Clarke. Yes, it is both easy and crazy to try and combine these two fandoms, but I'm going for it anyway. This is the first thing I've posted without having the ending already written. Eek. Also, in some way, I guess this is a nod to that first SGA fic I ever read, which was an SGA/HP crossover... I don't remember what it was called and my mind remembers there being far more of them around than I can now find... but yes, I was introduced to SGA because someone thought John's hair matched the description of Harry's... and so I had to add my own crossover to the mix.

Summary:

When John Sheppard wakes in a cell - again - it just seems like any other day. At first.

There are a few problems with that assumption.
1. He was sure he'd been on earth
2. His captors are wearing robes, and
3. Usually his team's in the cell with him.

Meanwhile, rumours abound across the magical world - after decades missing, they say, Harry Potter has been found.
